About Tara...

 Tara has been training in belly dance since 1998, and has studied with a wide range of teachers from the UK, Egypt and around the world. She is passionate about belly dance and loves to share her enthusiasm and skills with her students. She is particularly interested in the expression of the self through movement and contemporary interpretations of belly dance.

Tara has been teaching belly dance since 2004 and holds a foundation certificate in teaching Arabic dance from JWAAD (Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance), and is a member of Mosaic Arabic Dance Network.

Tara has a background in Adult Education Teaching and staff training. She also teaches workshops in sewing and embroidery, as well as costume making.
